Hairspray!

Yesterday I went to see Hairspray at Carmel Repertory Theatre. Although it wasn't Broadway, they did such a good job! There were a few times I was a little shocked because the stage version is a little more on the dirty and inappropriate side compared with the movie version. This was only made more uncomfortable by the large amount of elementary school aged girls in the audience, accompanied by their equally appalled parents. Despite this, it was a great show and I can't wait for Annie to show there in November!
