DAY 6
I'm thankful for my right to vote. I'm thankful that I live in a place where I can make my opinion be heard and also a place where as a woman I am valued. So often during elections we get so caught up in who we stand with or who we stand against, who we feel is right or wrong, and who we are going to vote for and in the midst of this forget all of the work that has gone on before us to enable us the right to vote. I voted this morning because I care about the future of America and I want my voice to be heard...by a vote! I voted because I have convictions, morals, and beliefs about what is best for this great country. And I vote because I owe it to the people who fought, in times which I cannot even fathom living in, for all of us to have a say in our country's government. Even though I am so over all this political race, because of all the political propaganda going around, I still remain thankful that I live in the United States, that I am blessed with freedom and liberty, and that I have, and you, have the hard earned right to vote!
